Jyoti Gauba to essay the role of Suchitra Goenka in Star Plus' Daag

As reported earlier, Cinevistaas Ltd is coming up with a show, a thriller drama on Star Plus titled Daag. Well, sources inform us that the show which is now slated to go on-air around New Years time has brought on board Jyoti Gauba to essay the role of Suchitra Goenka, mother to the parallel male lead. Other actors in the show are Vatsal Seth and Sanjeeda Sheikh in lead roles. Simone Singh, Ayub Khan, Amit Behl and Bhupinder Singh are also a part of the project. When contacted Jyoti she remarked, “Yes, I am doing the show and I have a very positive role to play. I cannot divulge many details apart from this.” However, we do have an added detail here…It seems that Jyoti Gauba and the male parallel lead, whose casting is yet not complete, are the only two people playing positive roles in the show.
