When Ali Zafar got face palmed at a press conference

Press conferences can be tricky. Here journalists reserve the right of asking the cheesiest of questions to stars which if not handled well can land them in a quandary. Ali Zafar found himself in a similar situation yesterday. The soft spoken Pakistani actor was addressing a press conference along with Yami Gautam, his co-star from his next movie- Total Siyapaa, when an enterprising scribe got up and requested Ali to belt out a few lines of any song that he has sung in the movie. Here is what followed: Reporter – Ali, please sing a few lines for the camera. Ali – Oh...Kya kya karwaoge yaar (What all will you make me do!) Thank God I am not a gymnast or else you guys would have asked me to do some gymnastics as well. Reporter (tongue-in-cheek) – Thank God, you were not in Vicky Donor. Or else, just imagine…. This witty repartee made the assembled media burst out laughing. Even Yami Gautam, director E. Niwas and writer Neeraj Pandey couldn’t control their laughter. Thankfully, Ali took it sportingly although he did look a bit flustered for a micro-second. A face palm moment definitely for the actor.
