I am ready to do a movie that will promote breast cancer awareness - Bipasha Basu

Bipasha Basu
Bipasha Basu has been one of the most active B-town actresses to have passionately taken up the cause of spreading breast cancer awareness. This time the sultry actress was seen lending her support to Pinkathon that has been actively trying to raise aware about this killer disease among women. Bipasha was recently seen at an event organized to announce the second edition Mumbai’s “HCG Pinkathon - Run to Lead”. The actress stressed on the need to exercise and run daily to boost one’s immunity so that one can fight such disease. She exhorted one and all to take fitness seriously to lead a happy life. Although the cause of breast cancer still remains a mystery like all other cancers, it’s quite heartening to see movie stars come out and lend their support to such important cause. Although we have had actresses campaigning in past, Bollwyood is yet to make a film that promotes breast cancer awareness. A plethora of them exist on AIDS awareness but nothing on breast cancer. When we asked Bipasha about the same, the actress gave it a good thought and said, “Our films are basically topical. But I do agree with you that films can carry a message in a very strong manner. If there is a film on breast cancer being made and if the story is good, I would definitely like to be a part of the movie.” Hope our filmmakers are listening!!!
