My fitness mantra is to sleep on time, eat right and exercise well - Mohammad Nazim

Mohammad Nazim
Mohammad Nazim, who has won a million hearts by way of his show Saath Nibhana Saathiya on Star Plus, loves eating sarson ka saag and makke ki roti and has a fetish for chole bhature too. But being a foodie only increases his penchant to working out a lot in order to maintain an amazing physique. In a talk with Tellychakkar.com, the fine looking actor talks about his exercise routine and more. Excerpts: Personal fitness mantra? I believe in sleeping on time, eating right and exercising well. Personal diet mantra… Oh! I love home-made sarson ka saag aur makke ki roti. Are you a foodie? Absolutely! Exercise routine? I workout for five days a week and also practice Karate during the course of my exercise. Are you a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian? (Smiles) I eat everything. Favourite cuisine? I like eating Italian food, though it has been long since I have eaten an Italian dish. I have also heard that Italian dishes are very good for health. Apart from that, I like eating Indian food, particularly Punjabi dishes. Favourite dish… Whenever I happen to visit my home town, I always have sarson ka saag aur makke ki roti. It is my favourite dish. A must on your breakfast table? Eggs, fruits, cornflakes and milk with a dash of honey are a must for my breakfast. Sugar or sugar-free tea/coffee… I drink green tea. Lunch generally consists of… Since I am mostly shooting, I eat anything that is available be it vegetarian or non-vegetarian- rice or roti. All I need is salad to go along with what I eat. Dinner generally consists of.. My dinner consists of 5 to 6 pieces of chicken or mutton served with salad. Dessert delights? I have a fetish for kala jamuns. My favourite drink (non-alcoholic) Red Bull. My favourite drink (alcoholic) I hardly drink but on occasions I prefer having Breezer. Most unusual dish I have tasted? I like eating fish. About 3 years ago, I had gone to JW Marriot with my friends and there we ordered for a sea-food dish that tasted horrible. I don’t like eating any other sea food apart from fish. Experiment with food… Yes, the above incident makes it very obvious. On the streets, I love to have… I have not got a chance to have one from the stalls on the streets but whenever I get time I do visit Kailash Parbat Hotel and order for Chole Bhature. Let me be precise, I order for 2 bhaturas, paneer and aloo. It tastes amazing! Do you cook? Yes sometimes. Fitness tip I would advise people to eat healthy food and on time.
