2013 is coming to an end. This has been a very promising and intriguing year for the television industry. With captivating shows and performances across genres and channels, 2013 has proved to be momentous.
Like every year, Tellychakkar.com is back with its year ender special articles. In the section, we will put on our magnifying glasses and zoom in on the best and worst of the year. We will talk about the best shows, actors, happenings, moments, et al.
It’s evident that Indian television is primarily women dominated but yet there are male performers who have managed to stand out this year with their impeccable acts on small screen.
So let’s begin our year ender special articles by listing the top faces of the year, male. These are the male personalities who have worked hard and have found a place in this coveted list.
We will also run a poll and out of the names (in diverse categories), viewers will decide the ultimate winner which we will announce at the end of the month.
Now let’s check out the names which are arranged alphabetically.
Anas Rashid: Meet Anas and he will come across as a person who is high in values and goals but extremely grounded and humble as a person. And this quality of his has taken him to places. Playing the lead actor in country’s number one show Diya Aur Baati Hum (Star Plus), Anas has a subtle charming demeanor which makes him a favourite amongst masses. Vote for him and make him the Face of the Year if you like his Sooraj act in the above mentioned show.
Dilip Joshi: This funny man of the TV industry wins awards after awards for his hilarious act playing Jethalal in SAB TV’s highest rated show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He is the messiah for many as Dilip lends a balmy effect to viewers who tune in to the show to ward off day long of weariness. Do vote for him.
Gautam Rode: The Greek God of television, Rode has come a long way as an actor. With a chiseled frame and passion in eyes, Gautam today has emerged as one of the most sought after actors in the small screen space. His romantic image in Saraswatichandra (Star Plus) is loved by one and all. Vote for the sexy man.
Gurmeet Choudhary: If it is television, then you just cannot keep Gurmeet out of it. He wowed everyone in Punar Vivah season one (Zee TV) and after the show ended, he is seen dancing his heart out with wifey Debina on Nach Baliye season 6. He is an actor with a difference. Gurmeet fans, time to support him.
Karan Singh Grover: He got back to television after a long hiatus with Zee TV’s Qubool Hai and immediately won hearts and accolades via his romantic portrayal of Asad. He was awarded with the Best Personality Award at this year’s Indian Telly Awards. All we can say, his serious natured appearance, striking eyes and macho persona…makes him a thorough entertainer. Vote for KSG.
Kapil Sharma: He is the revelation of 2013. He has turned into a phenomenon and has taken small screen by storm via his show Comedy Nights with Kapil (Colors). Kapil has had the most successful year which saw shades of glory, controversies and mishaps. All in all, Kapil rocks and he deserves lots of votes to win the title of Face of the Year.
Mohit Raina: The sexiest Lord Shiva ever, Mohit Raina is currently the most eligible bachelor in the country. He looks absolutely heavenly donning the mantle of Shiva. Mohit’s good looks, chiseled physique and heavy toned voice…makes him a craze amongst masses. Mohit is loved and revered by everyone and he deserves a place in this elite list. Vote for Mohit.
Ronit Roy: Make way for the Boss. A television star and now also a famous name in Bollywood, Ronit on small screen has become a household name playing KD Pathak in Sony Entertainment Television’s Adaalat. His superb dialogue delivery and impressive screen presence, puts Ronit amongst the best. Vote for him and make him win.
Siddharth Shukla: This is one actor who has grown in leaps and bounds when it comes to acting ability. And yes, he is absolutely good looking. We are talking about Siddharth Shukla aka Shiv from Colors’ Balika Vadhu. He also entertained one and all with his funny moves in Jhalak season 6. Armed with the ability to churn out any varied and poignant emotion in the world, Shukla is indeed a crowd puller. Make him the Face of the Year.
Rithvik Dhanjani: Rithvik is young, energetic and amazingly hard working. Ask anyone in the TV industry and he or she will talk oodles in favour of the lad’s apt professional attitude. He symbolizes the word “versatility”. He has had a great run professionally this year. He has featured in Pavitra Rishta, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Nach Baliye, India’s Best Dramebaaz and DID. Way to go, Rithvik. You deserve to win.
Vivian Dsena: The rockstar of television. He suits the character of RK in Colors’ Madhubala (Nautanki Telefilms and BAG Films) to the T. Yes, his strong built, classy appearance and heavy voice, make him a superb performer. Vivian is talented and will go places in the future. All his diehard fans, time to vote and make him win.
