Sony TV's Crime Patrol to depict a tale of forced child marriage

The popular crime based show- Crime Patrol (Optimystix Productions) on Sony Entertainment Television has been trying to create awareness amongst people on the heinous crime that is being committed in our country. After depicting tales from Maharashtra, the show will now air a tale from Kerala this week. Meenaz, a poor girl from a small town in Kerala will be forced to marry an elderly rich person based in Middle East. Her parents will use all tactics to force the marriage on her, but the girl who would want to study and become independent will be standing firm against the marriage. With cases of crime rates getting higher against children and women this episode will awaken the viewers on how a young girl should stand for her rights and protest against child marriage and exploitation. With her family not paying heed to her cries and the police also warding off the case, will the girl mange to set herself free and live a life she had dreamt of? Catch this episode tonight (6 December).
