Actor Anas Khan's car catches fire

A major tragedy was averted when actor Anas Khan’s car caught fire yesterday morning (9 January 2014). The Saath Nibhana Saathiya actor was on his way to attend a meeting in the town area of Mumbai along with his friend when the engine of his Honda CR-V car caught fire. Cheating death, Anas and his friend acted swiftly and got out of the vehicle on time or else the flames from hell could have caused a greater toll. Later, fire brigade rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. “My car just went up in flames right in front of my eyes. I could do nothing. It’s completely damaged. But luckily I and my friend were not hurt,” shared Anas. Talking more on the unfortunate incident, the actor stated, “We had reached Juhu when the car’s engine caught fire. I think it must have been because of battery fluctuation. Though we are yet to discover the actual reason.” Is he upset about the loss? "I am happy about the fact that nothing happened to us. Materialistic things will follow." That's what we call being optimistic.
