Rahil 'Hatim' Azam bags lead role in Garima Productions' next big project for Life OK

It’s ‘news’ time yet again on Tellychakkar.com!! The versatile actor, Rahil Azam is back on television. The guy who stole all the limelight with his breakthrough role as Hatim on Star Plus is now gearing up for yet another challenge. A little birdie from the industry confides in us that Rahil has been finalized to play the protagonist in the biggest-ever show of Life OK. The period drama to be produced by ace director Ashwini Dheer’s Garima Productions will be based on the popular Hindi novel by Dharamvir Bharati, titled Gunahon Ka Devta. A reliable source tells us that the unit is all geared up to start shoot of this big-ticket show in Banaras from 20 January. This show will bring never-seen-before romance on television. Rahil was earlier seen in Star Plus’ Gulaal. Recently, the actor did an important cameo in Zee TV’s Hitler Didi. When asked Rahil on his comeback to TV, he exclaimed, “Where had I gone? I was right here. But the fact remains that I am very selective about the subjects I take. I only take up roles that I like.” We tried contacting Producer Ashwini Dheer, but he remained unavailable for comments. We also sent a text message to Ajit Thakur, General Manager, Life OK, but did not get any revert till the time of filing the story. Watch this space for more exclusive updates.
