It's the beginning of Avanti's troubles in Maati Ki Banno

Avanti (Via Roy Choudhury) has just managed to escape from her cruel aunt in Maati Ki Banno. Avanti's first encounter with Vikram (Manoj Chandila) turned out to be fortunate for her. In the forthcoming episodes Vikram marries her but hides the reality about his family that they are very orthodox who follow outdated practices. A source says, "Vikram does not reveal the truth about his family, as he is completely against the rituals and customs which they follow. This is the reason why he has not maintained any contact with them. However Avanti will get to know about this and force him to go to his native village Chhapra. Being an orphan Avanti is excited to meet her in-laws. As soon as the couple lands in the village Vikram's family, especially his father creates a scene. He refuses to accept her and asks Vikram where he had found her. He also warns him that he will throw him out of the house and will not tolerate this insult." "Initially Vikram's family will not even allow her to enter the house, but Vikram will support Avanti and tell everyone that she is his wife. Avanti will be shocked to see everyone's reaction as her in-laws will pass snide remarks about her. Later they will permit her to be in the house only on the condition that follow each and every family ritual. However her difficulties will not end there as Avanti will then have to go trough an acid test everyday because of her father- in- law."
