Swastik Pictures in association with Vivek Bahl, Executive Creative Director of Star Plus is ready with its new show tentatively titled Navya for the channel. The show is a simple love story between the two rookie actors Soumya Seth and Saheer Shaikh. Kshitee Jog has been cast as the girl’s mother in the show.
A source reveals,”Navya is basically a simple love story. The story talks about the girl’s journey, how her life changes when she gets married. Navya belongs to a middle class North Indian family in Mumbai. Newcomer Soumya Seth has been cast as Navya and Kshitee Jog plays her mother. Saheer Shaikh plays Navya’s love interest who is also a newcomer. We have already started shooting for the show.”
We tried contacting Siddharth Tewary but he remained unavailable to comment. Kshitee Jog however confirmed that she is a part of Navya.
The show is slated to air in January.
