Pooja Balutia in Vidhwa; Neha Bamb Sr to play mom

Pooja Balutia
VG production's Vidhwa on Colors is all set to go on floors this week. The latest update on the show is that actress Pooja Balutia who has done a few shows in the past will be seen playing one of the leads in the show. However there was some confusion about an actress called Neha Bamb. In an earlier story we reported that Neha Bamb (of Maayka fame) would return to the small screen with Vidhwa but as confirmed now there is Neha's namesake who will essay the character of a mother in the show. A source says, "Due to the similarity in the name we too did not understand which Neha Bamb is doing this show. But recently when we met her we got to know that this lady is much older than the other Neha Bamb and will play the boy's mother in the show. On the other hand Pooja Balutia will portray Vikram Gokhale's daughter in the show. She falls in love with Amarr Upadhyay and then decides to get married to him. Pooja and Amarr will play parallel leads in the show." Pooja who has also done few commercials and a movie down South says," I am essaying the character of Bhairavi in the show. She wants to get married to Amarr but her parents are against it. He belongs to a poor family while Bhairavi belongs to a Brahman family, so her parents force her to get married to someone else. It is a complete positive character." Clearing the confusion about Bamb and confirming Pooja's role, V. Kumar of VG productions says, "Pooja is doing our show but there was too much confusion about Neha, due to the similarity in the name. It is the older Neha who is part of our show and not the younger one. Actually we did not realise who it was and are sorry. We should have cleared this before."
