Commenting on this development Managing Director Ravi Chopra says, “We are coming up with Dharampatni that will be aired on Sony. Dharampatni can be best described as the autumn of a woman’s life. Given an option, I would have stuck with the original name.” It’s been buzzed that Manasi Joshi-Roy has been chosen to play the lead. When asked about this Manasi replied, “Yes. I have been offered the lead role in Dharampatni. However, nothing is finalised yet. We are still negotiating. If all goes well then you will see me in this show. I’m keen on doing this show as I really like the character.”
