“I had to attend diction classes,” Harsha

Harsha a new face is debuting on television with <em> Nelanjanaa</em> on 9X. This 21- year- old is very excited to play the lead but the problem she faced initially was her diction. “I had to go for classes as my Hindi was very poor. I had to take voice diction classes for a month. Besides that my production house had also arranged for a workshop that helped me get a hold on the language,” says Harsha.

I had to take voice diction classes for a month. Besides that my production house had also arranged for a workshop that helped me get a hold on the language,” says Harsha. Explaining about her character she says, “I play the role of Nelanjanaa who is very simple and sweet girl for whom her beauty becomes a bane rather than boon. The story revolves around her trap and escape form the flesh trade by a journalist. I can’t reveal much but slowly as the story unfolds you’ll see many sides of her.” Besides acting Harsha is also a singer. “I used to sing in a band. Even in school and college, I participated in various singing events,” she chirps. Not many people know that this pretty young girl has completed her BSc in Zoology before entering this industry. “I was always fascinated by this industry. I dreamed of a career in acting and today I’m here. I’ve completed my studies as everyone in my family is highly qualified,” explains Harsha. Take a bow Harsha!
