On Kiss Day, learn the art of kissing from your favourite celebs
A kiss is a sign of a deep emotional bonding between two individuals. On Kiss Day, (13 February) couples in love express their love for each other with a passionate kiss. Wanting to get their take on the same, we called a few celebrities who shared with us tips on the art of kissing. Excerpts: Sriti Jha: The most important thing on a Kiss Day is to be in love. Love overcomes everything; there are no dos and don’ts for people in love. Nia Sharma: When I remember the moment when I kissed for the same time, I go in a state of frenzy. It was so perfect and gentle; I want to cherish those memories for my lifetime. I would like to advise people to not pounce on one out of lust but to make the kiss memorable and special by doing the act gently. Vrinda Dawda: Firstly, it is very important to smell good while kissing. If one has consumed onions and garlic, it is very important to have lots of chewing gums. Apart from the oral hygiene, I would advise couples to eat a chocolate before kissing; it is very soothing. Also please do not force yourself on your partner as love has to be mutual and not forceful. Shilpa Anand: I would not say kissing is an art or something. I would rather want to inform couples that kissing is something which is born out of love and it is an expression of the same. It’s a natural feeling which comes out of love. Karan V Grover: Today being Kiss Day, I would like to advise the lovely couples out there to make their day really special with a special kiss. Also I would like to tell couples to brush their teeth before getting into this act. And I would caution the men to not jump directly on the third base because girls do not like this. Gautam Rode: On Kiss Day couples should kiss at least 500 times and make each other feel special. I would advise couples to use Colgate toothpaste, green tea plax that will help people to keep up with the oral hygiene. Karan Kundra: What is most important for couples who kiss is to maintain oral hygiene. I would puke if I would kiss someone with bad breath. Anas Rashid: I believe that when two individuals are in love, there is no consideration of smell, bad breath or whatever. All these things are irrelevant. In fact, on a philosophical note let me say that when Shakespeare was asked about his girlfriend, he observed what holds him most close to his girlfriend is the essence she carries. In today’s age each girl could chew a mint, accessorize herself and smell the same. But what true love holds is the acceptance of the individual the way he or she is and the essence one holds.
