Saregama India shoots for its 100th episode of Savdhan India

Savdhan India
It’s celebration time on the sets of Saregama India Ltd’s Savdhan India on Life OK. Well, the occasion certainly calls in for a celebration as the production shoots for its 100th episode today. Talking about their show’s journey, producer Manish Pupat says, “It’s been a superb journey. Initially when we started, we weren’t too sure about us going this long, especially with 17 producers being a part of Savdhan. And when the channel decided on brooming a few, we were still retained and here we are.” What’s the next target? “We believe in quality more than quantity. So, we will continue doing good work.” Interestingly, Saregama has also been asked to produce the maximum number of maha movies for Savdhan. “We were given a brief initially saying that the maha movies would be more like a two-hour film and we followed the brief. Things fell right there on and we kept getting work.” Where is the party tonight? “We’ve just begun shooting for the 100th episode today and we’ll complete it in four days. So, the fourth day will call for celebration. However, I would like to say that my team has remained the same during this journey. Not a single spot boy or a director has left my production and this fact gives me an immense feeling of pride. The fact that Saregama has managed to reach this far in spite of being Music Company too is a big thing.” The production also won the best thriller award recently for an episode of Savdhan in spite of being pitted against CID, Crime Patrol, Adaalat and Fear Files. Congratulations team Saregama!!
