Amitabh Bachchan crosses '10 million likes' on his Facebook page

Social networking sites have definitely brought celebs closer to the public. And with a click on ‘like’ and ‘follow’ daily updates from your favourite stars can be found on your laptops or mobile screens. Also similar to the industry, competition is rife here too. And hitting a new record is the millennium star Amitabh Bachchan who crossed 10 million likes on his Facebook page late last night. "10 MILLION! Thank you all... Just so overwhelmed.. What a way to start the day...," wrote the megastar on his blog. Right now the 71-year-old actor lags behind his contemporaries Salman Khan (14,273,556 likes) and Aamir Khan (11,039,579 likes) and is followed by Shah Rukh Khan who has 7 million likes on the social networking site.
