Traffic by MTV and MTV EXIT presented by Anurag Kashyap, promises to be an eye opener for the youth by bringing to light various forms of human trafficking. The show continues with its aim of bringing to fore different atrocities as the second episode of the five part series shines light upon the issue of forced marriage, another evil where young girls are tricked into marrying for trafficking. The story revolves around a young girl from Assam, Harimati, who is wooed by a man with a promise of a better life and is taken away to Delhi. She begins to doubt the way her to-be husband behaves and gauges that things aren’t the way they seem. Watch her harrowing flight to freedom as she barely manages to escape the clutches of a terrible future with the help of her family, who contact the Anti Kidnapping Cell (AKC) and the NGO Shakti Vahini, in the nick of time. Join Harimati in her fight against trafficking this Friday, 7 March at 7pm only on MTV!
