"I want to break the myth of a villain" Navin Sen

It's not an easy decision for Navin to step into Jeetu Malkani's shoes as Pranay in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. But just a few days down the line, Navin is smiling away through his villainous act in the show. The dude, who's a khoj of Zee's Cinestars ki Khoj is not at all anxious about playing a strong negative character. He says, "It feels good to be a part of such a big show. I'm honoured and fortunate to get such a meaty role early in my career. It's a great opportunity to work with such fine actors. Portraying the role of a villain is a big challenge for me and I've done lot of home work for it." Navin who has earlier done a DD show and Balaji's Krimson Skies continues," Amongst the young generation, Pranay is the most intriguing as compared to all the other characters. It's not a usual run of the mill role. He turned negative from positive and now after the marital rape track, I don't know when I will turn completely positive." But how does he feel replacing Jeetu Malkani? " I haven't replaced anyone. It's just that he was not performing well and the production house had to take a call on it. I don't even know Jeetu. I just got a call from Meetuji for the audition and we started shooting the very next day. I'll do full justice to the character and will try to portray it naturally. My ambition is to break the myth of a villain," adds Navin.
