Bhaag Milkha Bhaag sweeps IIFA 2014

There were no major surprises when the grand award finale of IIFA unfolded at Tampa Bay on 26 April (2014). As expected, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag ran the distance and collected a plethora of trophies. What however made IIFA grand this time was the presence of two well-known Hollywood stars, John Travolta and Kevin Spacey. Kevin who presented the Entertainer of the Year award to Deepika Padukone even shook a leg with Deepika and host Shahid Kapoor to the popular tunes of Lungi Dance. He even draped a multi coloured lungi around himself to perform the jig, definitely a first in his life, we think. Bollywood too couldn't get enough of Kevin and Anupam Kher even clicked a selfie with the Hollywood star. Among the notable awardees was Shatrughan Sinha who was honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award and the same was handed over by his daughter Sonakshi. Below is the list of winners. The baffling winner was Arshad Warsi whose performance in Jolly LLB was honoured as Best Comic Performance!!!
