The latest show to get inspired by blockbuster flick Jodhaa Akbar, is Star Plus’ Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat. According to the sources, the lead pair of the show Anjali Abrol and Kapil Nirmal shot a sword fighting sequence directly lifted from Jodhaa Akbar. Says a source, “The lead actors of the show Rani and Yudhishthir have shot a sword fighting sequence. The fight sequence is inspired by Aishwarya and Hrithik Roshan’s sword fighting sequence in Jodhaa Akbar. Kunwar Yudhishthir has lost his memory and has also forgotten how to wield the sword. In an attempt to help him get back his memory, Rani organises a sword fight with him. The sequence was shot two days ago. They had the movie running on the laptop so that they could follow the sequence scene by scene.” Anjali Abrol aka Rani said, “Yes, we shot a sword fighting sequence in the show. It was an attempt from my end to bring back the lost memory of Kunwar ji. It was very difficult for me as I have never handled a sword in my entire life. The sequence was inspired by Jodhaa Akbar but there is always a difference between a movie and a daily soap. I had not even practiced it. We shot the sequence in one night.” The episode will air sometime this weekend at 8:00 pm on Star Plus.
