Chitrangda-Nawazuddin-Prosenjit in Kushan Nandy's project

Chitrangda Singh, Nawazuddin Siddhiqui, Prosenjit Chatterjee
Kushan Nandy, the very shy son of media magnate Pritish Nandy is all set to direct another film a decade after he directed the thriller 88 Antop Hill. The political thriller which stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Chitrangda Singh and Bangla superstar Prosenjit in the lead would be shot in Jharkhand during the monsoon this year. The film is to be shot in the interiors of Bengal and Jharkhand. Now that Chitrangda has custody of her son, his well being and upkeep would be the career mom’s primary concern. A long-standing friend of the actress who wishes to go unnamed says, “There are lots of unresolved issues after her marriage. Chitrangda has got custody of their only son. So far whenever Chitrangda was in Mumbai to pursue her acting career her son was left in the care of her husband and his family in Delhi. With the changed equations there is bound to be considerable changes in Chitrangda’s lifestyle.” Friends say she now plans to shift permanently to Mumbai. Kushan Nandy’s untitled film to be shot extensively in Jharkhand and Bengal would be the first film Chitrangda would plunge into after the changed circumstance in her life. Not much is known about Kushan’s film except that it’s a political thriller. Nawaz and Chitrangda are paired opposite one another while Prosenjit plays a politician. The film begins shooting in July. “Kushan’s film requires extensive shooting outdoors in Jharkhand .We are sure Chitrangda will find a way to deal with whatever the personal and professional situation in her life,” says a source close to the film.
