Reunion time for Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani gang

Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani
You were a gang, worked, ate and frolicked together on the sets of the show. And then the show went off air, but the bonhomie remained intact. And in this hectic life, how do you meet and relive those days of frolicking on the sets? By holding reunion parties. Yes, we are talking about the cast and crew of the superbly famous Star One show, Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani (Balaji Telefilms). The supernatural series changed lives for not only its viewers but for the cast members as well. Love blossomed between actors Vahbbiz Dorabjee-Vivian Dsena and Kishwer Merchant, Suyyash Rai. Furthermore, Sukirti Kandpal, Rithvik Dhanjani, Siddhant Karnick went on to become household names. On and off the actors keep meeting via reunions and they met at Villa 69, Juhu yesterday. Except for Sukirti, almost everyone namely Kishwer, Suyyash, Rithvik, Asha Negi (not a part of the cast but Rithvik’s girlfriend), Vahbbiz, Vivian, Siddhant, Naved, Tanvi, Priya, Anupam, and Papiya were present in the reunion. Even after three years since it went off air, viewers still remember the cold skinned sophisticated vampires and their born enemies, werewolves. “It is not often that actors who worked in a show keep in touch after it goes off air. But we often see each other,” said Kishwer Merchant. Kishwer played the role of vampire Hasina Raichand in the show. “Vahbbiz and I planned the whole reunion thing, made a Whatsapp group and somehow carried it off even amidst busy schedules.” Says Vahbbiz, “The show was popular not only because of the track but also due to the wonderful personal equations. Since everyone was busy with their shooting schedules it was really difficult to get them all together. But somehow Kishwer and I managed it. We are partners in crime.” So will there be a season 2 for this most loved show? “I definitely hope so. Everyone wants it so badly. Audience and team members alike,” says Rithvik Dhanjani who played werewolf Jeh Khurana. Post Pyaar Kii…the actor went on to bag notable roles with Balaji Telefilims and won Nach Baliye season 6 along with his girlfriend. “So much happened for me career wise after this show,” adds Rithvik. Finally, Siddhant shares, “The vampire character I played that of Siddharth Mehra is one of my favorite. I met a lot of good people, made friends, connected with them. Last night was so much fun and everyone relived their memories. All the cast members want the show back." He adds jokingly, “Know what, I kept the fangs back. Sometimes I wear it and drive around in the car at night.” Here are some pictures of the celebration.
