Shutter, the superhit Malayalam movie about Indian labourers in Gulf is being remade in Marathi. And helming the Marathi version is veteran ad film maker, actor and National Award winning director VK Prakash who has already left his imprint in several path breaking films in Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu. The Malayalam version of Shutter was written and directed by the popular actor, playwright and debut film maker Joy Mathew. The movie which was both a critical and commercial success had an uninterrupted run at theaters and also bagged several awards. The movie which portrays unexpected incidents happening within 24 hours in four people's lives is a heart pounding thriller and also an intense social satire. The Marathi version will have popular artists like Sachin Khedekar, Sonalee Kulkarni (teaming up for the first time), Amey Wagh, Prakash Bare, Jaywant Wadkar, Radhika Harshe, Kaumudi Walokar, Kamlesh Sawant and more.
