The Fashion & Film world come together on Star Verdict

India’s fashion industry is booming and Bollywood has always aided in bringing the latest fashion trends and fads to the people. The next episode of Star Verdict sees the host Anupama Chopra, discuss the interdependent relationship between the two worlds of fashion and film with Sabyasachi Mukherjee – Fashion designer and winner of National Award for Best Costume Design, Manish Malhotra –pioneering Bollywood costume designer and Sonam Kapoor – India’s youth fashion icon. While talking about fashion Manish Malhotra tells Anupama that he was the first one to start showstoppers on the ramp. He said, “Maine uss waqt iss liye kiya tha kyunki mujhe laga tha ke mera pehla show hain and Rangeela ek aisi film thi jisne mera career change kiya tha. Emotional quotient ke wajah se, I wanted Urmila Matondkar to be a part of my first fashion show. Magar aajkal kuch zyaada ho gaya hain.
