My Father, My Friend

 My father my friend
It is truly said that a friend in need is a friend indeed, especially when that friend is your adoring father. If only one could unshackle the pages of their childhood which were bloomed with contentment furnished by their fathers, he would be more than just a friend. In order to unfold the pages again, we got in touch with a few television celebrities who wished for the same on this Father’s Day. Take a look. Rucha Hasabnis: Since I am the only child, I've always been given extra love and care. From studies to extra care and affection, I've always been given the best. It's always said that girls are closer to their dads; however it's not true because it has never been the same in my case. I've been given equal love by both, my mum and dad. But yes! My dad has certainly been a perfect guide to me at every milestone of my life. Vishal Vashishta: My dad is certainly a very good friend of mine and I knew this from a very long time. But recently I partied hard with my friends and got sloshed completely. After reaching home my mum created havoc and she made my dad aware about the scene too. My dad asked me about it, but I denied about drinking at first but then I told him the truth as I knew he would eventually figure it out. He made me understand just like a friend and made me realize that it could take a toll on my health. Also I am still a small kid to him because I don't have to hesitate to ask him anything. I want to thank him for being so supportive and understanding. Sreejita De: I am not that friendly with my dad but I share a good bond with my mum. He has always boosted my morale. I want to tell him that I will always be there with him till the end. He may think that I have never given him much of my time, but it's not so; I love him very much. Disha Parmar: As the tagline reads my dad- my friend, I think I share the same bond with my dad. We are really great friends and I can never stop myself from sharing any new plans or my new ventures that I am working on with him. I would want to say that I love him very much and I've told him that almost a thousand times. Karan Tacker: My dad is my best buddy. One evening he called me up during my shooting hours to ask me what my plans were for the day. He then said, “Let's have a drink together”. I was very touched when he asked me that. Mohit Malhotra: My dad is my best buddy and a perfect guide. He has thought me to work with determination towards a particular task that came my way. I can never keep any secrets from him; I have to share it as he doesn’t mind solving my personal issues too. This father’s day I just want to tell him that he a holds a special place in my heart and he will always be my hero.
