Rasik Dave, Surbhi Vyas, Sejal Shah and Vipra Rawal in Sony Pal's show

Tellychakkar.com has earlier reported about Rashmi Sharma Productions, maker of Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Star Plus) and Sasural Simar Ka (Colors), coming up with a new show for SET’s new channel, called Sony Pal. It will have a Gujarati backdrop and will depict the life of a young boy who would have no academic aspirations but long to become a successful football player. He will not be keen on joining his father’s family business, but would aim to tread on his own chosen path. The female lead on the show will be the daughter of the maid, working in the Gujarati family. Alan Kapoor (Diya Aur Baati Hum) and Adaa Khan (Amrit Manthan) will play the leads. Siddharth Shivpuri (Ye Parinde) will portray younger brother of the male lead and Rashmi Singh (Jeannie Aur Juju) will play the character of Alisha opposite Siddharth. Now, we have few more names that have joined the cast. They are Rasik Dave (Sanskaar -Dharohar Apnon Ki), Sejal Shah (last seen in Hitler Didi), Surbhi Vyas (Mukti Bandhan) and Vipra Rawal (Beend Banoongaa Ghodi Chadhunga). Talking about their characters, Rasik and Surbhi will play Alan’s parents, Sejal will be seen as Rasik’s mother and Vipra as Rasik’s sister. Big family, we must say! We tried reaching them for a confirmation but they remained unavailable. The shooting has begun in Bhopal and their first episode should air by mid of July (2014).
