Sachin Chhabra and newbie Jinal Belani to play leads in DD's Laaga Chunri Mai Daag

The good looking actor Sachin Chhabra, who was last seen in Ek Ghar Banaunga (Star Plus), will be back on TV playing the lead of DD National’s upcoming project Laaga Chunri Mai Daag. The show produced by RDG Productions & Management Pvt Ltd will have newcomer Jinal Belani playing the female lead opposite Sachin. The serial is tentatively based on the movie Fashion where Jinal’s character (Veedhi) will play a small town girl aspiring to make it big in the movie industry. Sachin will play the son of a rich financer/producer who will fall in love with Veedhi and support her in her career. The show will also have Kajal Vashishtha playing the negative role of Soniya and few other newcomers playing other characters. Informs a source from the production house, “We believe in giving newcomers a chance and thus have roped in all newbies for our show. We are quite positive that Laaga Chunri Mai Daag will work wonders for us and also for them.” The show is currently being shot in Bhopal and will go on air from 30 June at the 1 pm slot.
