Shuddhi has been shelved, says Kareena Kapoor

Kareena Kapoor is one actress who has never hidden much from the media. Staying true to her outspoken nature, Kareena told reporters at Ramoji Filmcity that Shuddhi has been shelved and talks of she and Salman Khan having been cast by Karan Johar are mere rumours. Kareena had officially walked out of the project after Hrithik's exit. But fresh reports suggested that she and Salman had been confirmed for Shuddhi. "Salman to be a part of Shuddhi has been created by you (media). Shuddhi has been shelved. Karan (Johar) is working on The Warrior remake, I think with Sidharth Malhotra and Akshay Kumar...this is what Karan said. The shooting for it will start in August," Kareena told reporters. The 33- year old actress also pooh poohed talks of her friendship with Karan Johar having gone kaput. "Karan and we meet often. He loves to party. He is a very good friend. He is a brother to me and we share a deep bond. He is somebody who can be there for you," asserted Kareena. Kareena is currently busy shooting for Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Returns', with Ajay Devgn in Ramoji Filmcity.
