TV celebs and quick monsoon getaways
As the fiery and scorching heat seems to fade away it brings in a chilling atmosphere due to the monsoons. However it certainly provokes the minds of a few celebs who think very much alike to venture out on a quick getaway. Let’s brood over their plan of action this monsoon. Neha Bagga refreshes on a few good old days memories, “I don’t like going out on a quick getaway I’d rather go out for a long holiday in the form of a getaway. I’d prefer going back to my hometown in order to refresh my old school memories and I also remember back then when I was a kid I used to play “marampatti”. It is a game where in one could play and enjoy only during the monsoons.” Varun Kapoor has his own choice of travelling to distinct places in the monsoons, “I would want to stop over at Lavasa. It’s a perfect spot for spending time during the rains. The hotels there provide you with a tent and since it is out of the city the place is calm and serene. It’s a four to five hour journey from Mumbai.” Kinshuk Mahajan finds Goa very amusing, “I think Goa is the only option when it comes to quick getaways. What happens is that the beaches look extremely incredible and the whole of Goa has this spectacular view alongside its churches and other places to visit.” Kunal Karan Kapoor prefers a short drive over a long time break “I had been to Mahabaleshwar last weekend and it is also a short drive from Mumbai, it won’t take much of your time. Apart from that Mulshi dam would also be a better to opt for.” Mishkat Verma says, “If you are talking about quick getaways then it should be Goa, it’s possible to get there within an hour by flight so it’s not much of a hassle.” The very easy going and good looking Ashish Kapoor had this to say, “This monsoon I would like to try travelling to some different places as compared to Mahabaleshwar as it has become more of a commercial space now. However, I think Panchgani would be a better option. The scenario is not as congested as it has been in Mumbai in the very recent days.” Suhasi Dhami seems to have been annoyed with the climate of Mumbai, “The weather in Mumbai has been drifting from scourging heat to breezy weather patterns. And now that the monsoons are here in a full swing I think Lonavala would be the best place for a quick getaway. I also prefer Bhandardara, I have been there and it has a cool environment to live in.” Gaurav Khanna asserts, “Any hilly region would work in my favor. Since it has been very sunny for the past few days, a hilly terrain with clouds descending from its peak would be a better option for a quick getaway.” The very exuberant Aakansha Singh quotes, “I don’t really have any plans as such but if I had to I’d just go out on a long drive to Mahabaleshwar. It is very convenient and what would one want apart from greenery and overflowing streams.” So where do you want to head this monsoon? Hit the comment section below.
