Rahul Raj Singh gears up for a second innings in acting

Actor Rahul Raj Singh, who played the lead in Sahara One’s popular show Mata Ki Chowki, has been on a hiatus from acting for the past two and half years. Now, the man is looking at a comeback in the small screen space. However, Rahul has had quite a lot of achievements to his credit during this break, which had kept him busy. The guy was busy working on his event management and film production company in Yuva Tiger Entertainment and Magnum Opus Films. Also, the man owns a cricket team called Yuva Tiger Cricket Club which is associated with many popular television celebs. Rahul, after acting in shows like Mata Ki Chowki, Amber Dhara and Ganesh Leela, shot for a Hindi film set to release in September this year. Titled Ajab Gajab Prem, the movie is a love story picturized between the rich and poor classes. The movie also has Jackie Shroff in its prime cast. Post that he took a respite from acting but now he is itching to embrace his first love again…i.e. acting. Talking about his decision, Rahul said, “The TV-films equilibrium has changed today. There are more content oriented concepts coming on air on TV. Earlier, it was my conscious decision to take a break from acting, and concentrate on my production house. But now, I get a feeling that I have started to miss acting. So I have decided to get back. My production house has done a lot of events, musical concerts and corporate events. Also, I did a lot of promotional and marketing activities for different films.” On the kind of roles he will want to portray, the man stated, “I would like to do a young love story. Concepts related to army or cops also excite me. I basically want to enjoy my acting. Love tales like Yeh Hai Aashiqui are very good, and I love to watch it as a viewer too.” Rahul, we wish you a great second innings in acting.
