Laagi deprived of Akshay's charisma

A section of the media had reported that Akshay Kumar was to make a guest appearance in Laagi Tujhse Lagan on Colors. But now sources inform that the Khiladi will not be seen making an appearance on the show. A source says, “Akshay was to introduce Shabbir Ahluwalia on the show but since a certain section of media leaked out this information much in advance it is scrapped now. Since Akshay’s entry would have made a strong impact on the show it was being planned very meticulously. Unfortunately since the news leaked out the magic of that moment is lost. Hence now it does not make sense getting him on the show.” Talking of Shabbir who is replacing Mishal on the show the source adds, “Shabbir will play Datta bhau and hence will be seen in the same get-up as Mishal. He hasn’t started shooting yet as his entry on the show has not yet been finalised. But most likely he will enter the show next week before which the story will revolve around Kala and Sudarshan.” When asked about Akshay’s entry in the show producer Hemal Thakkar said, “I have no idea about it.” As regards Shabbir’s entry he quipped, “I will update you on this later.”
