MUMBAI: Thapki Pyaar Ki was an entertaining show by  Shoonya Square Productions and the show is back on audience demand.

It is a spiritual sequel to the 2015 series Thapki Pyar Ki. It stars Jigyasa Singh, Aakash Ahuja, Jaya Bhattacharya and Rachana Mistry.

The show is about Vaani "Thapki" Tripathi, a lively girl blessed with a melodious voice, however stammers whenever nervous, which causes a major obstacle on her path of fulfilling her dreams. Rich, handsome and strict, Purab Singhania believes in timeliness. Veena Devi, who is Thapki’s role model, hears Thapki's melodious voice and is mesmerized to hear it.

She decides to get Thapki married to her son Purab but Purab decides to marry Hansika and there starts a series of complications leading to love blooming between Thapki and Purab.

It is seen that how evilly Hansika plots a trap for Thapki in the cold storage room. Where Hansika puts oil on the staircase due to which Thapki falls into the cold storage box, she thus plans to now celebrate New Year with Purab.

However, Purab enters the room and finally gets to hear Thapki’s foot tap and thus rushes to save her. Purab gives mouth-to-mouth respiration to Thapki but nothing works and she remains unconscious. And this is when Purab thinks of another step.

Purab thus hugs Thapki in an intimate way to give warmth to her.

While Thapki is unable to gain back her consciousness, will Purab’s intimate touch of love bring her back to life?
