MUMBAI : Star Plus’ latest show, 'Jhanak', features Hiba Nawab in the titular role of Jhanak, Krushal Ahuja as Anirudh, and Chandani Sharma as Arshi. Anirudh appears to have returned to Kolkata following his rejection by Jhanak. At some point, he will come to the realization that he cannot survive without Jhanak and that his marriage to Arshi is over.
As he eventually comes to realize his love for Jhanak, he will be shown heading to Arshi to confess his feelings. He will be shown requesting to be separated from Arshi since he is unable to continue living this made-up marriage.
Arshi will be upset since, by marrying her, he ruined everything around them and ruined her life and career behind a man like Anirudh, who is incapable of understanding his own emotions.
Anirudh is unwilling to leave his loved ones behind for the sake of his marriage, despite Arshi's demands that he move overseas with her so she can start over.
