The countdown to the New Year 2013 has begun!! However, the entire nation seems to be in a state of mourning, after the rape incident in Delhi and the death of the 23 year old that followed. But as the saying goes, ‘<em>Umeed par duniya kaayam hai… and Chalti ka naam zindagi</em>’… <em>Tellychakkar.com</em> caught up with few actors from the television industry to know how the year 2012 treated them and what they expect from the New Year. So here we go:

This New Year, Colors brings a fun filled and star studded night with Golden Petal Awards, with a mix of dance, music, comedy and loads of masti. Playing the perfect hosts will be Manish Paul and Drashti Dhami who will get indulged in petit quarrels throughout the show much to the amusement of the audience. The night will have some spectacular performances including one by the good looking couples Shiv and Anandi’s (Siddharth Shukla and Pratyusha of <em>Balika Vadhu</em>) and Madhu (Drashti Dhami) and RK (Vivian Dsena) as they confesses their love for each other through a romantic act.
