Bollywood superstar <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/movie-chakkar/anil-kapoor-buys-out-indoor-film-studio-shoot-indian-version-24-first>Anil Kapoor</a> who will soon bring the hit international action thriller <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/movie-chakkar/anil-kapoors-24-turns-trendy>24</a> to the desi screen on Colors announced that his maiden TV production and small screen acting debut will make its entry around August/September (2013). Trying to play safe Anil refused to comment on the remaining cast. The project directed by Abhinay Deo though has gone on floors recently.

Abhinay Deo, who shot to fame with his deft handling of Aamir Khan’s Delly Belly, is gung-ho about his first TV directorial assignment, the Indian avatar of the hit international espionage series <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/slideshow/anil-kapoors-24-air-colors-press-conference-pics>24</a></em> produced by Anil Kapoor. “I am sure we will change the face of Indian television with this film on small screen, ”shares Abhinay. <em>24</em> on Colors, will trace a day in the life of a government agent (Anil Kapoor) who is caught between his country and family.

Colors has gone on to announce that Anil Kapoor Film Co has chosen the former as its broadcast partner for the Indian adaption of <em>24</em>, an award-winning <em>American TV series</em> that has seen unprecedented success worldwide.
