Aamir Khan
Actor Randeep Hooda recently did a commendable job in Charles Sobhraj’s biopic Main Aur Charles.
Unknown to many Randeep was not the first choice for the role. Perfectionist Aamir Khan was supposed to play the role of Charles Sobhraj in the film.
Reportedly, he had even met Charles in Paris to discuss the film. Charles was happy with Aamir and wanted him to play the role. But later on Aamir got busy with his other films and decided not to do this one.
Well, Randeep Hooda didn’t disappoint us.
Shah Rukh Khan, who became an overnight star with Yashraj’s Darr, surely owes one to Aamir Khan. Reason? Well, the Lagaan actor was the first choice for SRK’s role in Darr and the songs too were recorded keeping Aamir in mind. But Aamir believed the climax would make him look really weak and thus opted out.
Shah Rukh was then roped in and the rest, as they say, is history.
Aamir Khan is a man who loves to think and get excited by challenges. The social crusader is once again creating awareness on sensitive issues via his poignant show Satyamev Jayate.
And given his creative bent of mind, he loves playing games that triggers his think tank. Chess and Rubik's cube are his favourite games.
Aamir, we salute your intelligence.
