"I am disappointed as no one supported me" - Ismail Darbar

Last year he walked out of the Zee's Sa Re Ga…., when his favourite contest Nihira Joshi was voted out. And this year too he was on the verge of doing the same, but on the inclusion of two new contestants! Apparently, the induction of Anik and Abhijeet (who won the Bangla and Marathi versions Zee's Sa Re Ga...) into the Pratham Yudh hasn't gone down to well with Ismail Drabar. The no-fuss judge was highly displeased about this inclusion which was aired last week.

Abhijeet scorns SMSing in selecting winners

As guest judge on this Friday’s episode of Ek Main Aur Ek Tu, singer Abhijeet voices aloud his utter disdain for faulty voting techniques adopted by talent hunt shows. “It is not right to vote because of one’s emotional attachment for the participant. Sympathy has no place to play in deciding the fate of talent that will go on to represent our country in the future. The public voting at this crucial stage must be for the best singer and the vote should be based on music alone,” says Abhijeet.
