Rishi and Malishka are living in false marriage relationship. They are not having any husband and wife relation where Neelam now learns this big truth. Neelam is much angry on Rishi as she also learns the big fact that Rishi has not forgotten Laxmi yet and he still loves her.

Rishi and Lakshmi are really close, although they have a hit-and-miss situation all the time. Rishi's son Rohan likes Lakshmi after meeting her.

Lakshmi has already been declared dead while Rishi and Lakshmi are separated now. Rishi has hope to see Lakshmi but he is unable to face the situation.

Lakshmi may be seen crying in the car in the latest promo of the show. Rishi is doing Mahaaarti in the temple while harboring hopes.

Lakshmi and Rishi continue on with their suffering. Malishka will not allow Laxmi and Rishi to lead happy lives. The show is currently planning a six-year jump, after which Rishi and Lakshmi will be shown to be apart.

Rishi is missing Lakshmi where he gets the intution of her being in deep pain. Rishi thus decides to pack a tiffin for her and reach to see Lakshmi soon. However Lakshmi is really in pain where she is been given shock treatments.

Rishi saves Lakshmi, by throwing her dupatta away which already caught fire. She pointed to Malishka who had wrapped her in firecrackers when asked to her.

Lakshmi will be taken for her treatment while Rishi watches helplessly. He will see his dad Virendra and hug him emotionally, asking him if Lakshmi will be fine.

Rishi and Lakshmi are welcomed in Oberoi Mansion where Neelam also accepts the married couple. Now, before getting married, Lakshmi decides to confess the truth of Malishka and get her punished.
