Anees Bazmi is making The No Entry sequel first, Aankhen sequel later

Anees Bazmi is on an unprecedented high. Not only is he ready to go on the floors with his sequel to the 2005 hit comedy <em>No Entry</em> he is all set to do a sequel to the 1993 hit <em>Aankhen</em> which featured Govinda and Chunky Pandey as two wastrels and their antics across blunderland. The sequel entitled <em>Aankhen Chaar</em> will feature the same main characters as well as the same supporting characters, though some of the actors would be different.

Salman finally gives the nod to No Entry Mein Entry

You know what they say about Salman Khan? Ek baar jo commitment kar diya so kar diya. Having dillydallied over the sequel to <em>No Entry</em> Salman has finally approved of the project and given the dates for the same. Confirming this as he left for a vacation in Dubai with wife Sridevi and two daughters, producer Boney Kapoor said, “Yes, Salman has finally given me and my director Anees Bazmi dates for <em>No Entry Mein Entry</em>. We’ll be shooting the film from June 2013.After he finishes his brother Sohail’s film Salman will do my film and Sajid Nadiadwala’s <em>Kick</em>.”

Anees Bazmi to sue news channel for defamation

Even as you read this, Anees Bazmi’s lawyer B B Tiwari is getting ready to file criminal and civil cases against a channel (CNN-IBN) for what Anees alleges is a tampered broadcast on the channel of an alleged confession on Tuesday night regarding the exchange of black money in film production. Anees alleges his voice has been tampered with. “I’ve just said two lines. The rest is all doctored.”
