Angad Bedi is the chosen one to play Prithvi, the main lead in Sagar Arts' new period drama titled <em>Legend of Prithvi</em> for Star Plus. The cricketer turned model turned actor is trained in acting, body language and voice modulation. Angad, son of ex spinner, Bishen Singh Bedi was last seen showcasing his culinary skills in Star One's <em>Cook Na Kaho</em>. He has also flirted with Bollywood in the film <em>Kaya Taran</em> based on the Sikh riots.
