Aroona Irani, last seen in Zee Tv's <a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sanjog-se-bani-sangini-under-scanner/"><em> Sanjog Se Bani Sangini </em></a>, will be seen in Sony Entertainment Television's new show, Rose Audio Visuals' <em>Dekha Ek Khwaab</em> that will go on air on 21 November.

Tentatively titled <em>Mein Laxmi Tere Aangan Ki,</em> has seen a lot of changes since we last reported on it. <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/shalini-s-sahuta-shashi-sumeet-mittals-next-star-one>Shalini Sahuta</a> who was finalised to play the parallel lead in the show has been replaced by new comer Hina Parmar. Then it leaked out that veteran actress Aroona Irani had been cast for a pivotal role in the show.

Contiloe Telefilms is leaving no stone unturned to make their dream project tentatively titled Rani Lakshmi Bai a successful show. The show that will air on Zee TV has Balaji actress Kritika Sengar playing the lead Rani Lakhsmi Bai. And the latest development is that the production house has signed on veteran actress and producer Aroona Irani. Informs a source, “Aroona <em>ji</em> has been approached for the character of Vahini Sahiba and she has agreed to do it. Incidentally, actress Rohini Hattangadi was approached for the same role but she couldn’t take it up on personal grounds.”

Actor-producer Aroona Irani is set to produce a show for NDTV Imagine which is slated to go on air in June. Talking about her upcoming show, Aroona says, "We are still in the initial stages but I can tell you that it is going to be a very different show as NDTV Imagine believes in innovative ideas and concepts. It's a daily which will commence from June. We haven't finalised the actors yet. In fact, we haven't even decided on the show's title."
