Shoma Anand, aka Bina Mathur of <em> Hum Paanch</em> has replaced Aroona Irani as Durga Khurana in <em> Maayka</em>. Confirming the news, Shoma says, "I have agreed to this show because this character offers me something different. Often people have only associated me with comedy roles, thus I wanted to break this iamge."

shayantani Ghosh who plays the <em>Ichadhari Naaginn</em> in Zee's Naaginn will have the likes of Divyanka Tripathy, Neha Bamb, Kamya Punjabi and Anchal Dwivedi for company. In a special episode, that will be telecast this Saturday, the above girls will be seen as <em> Naaginn</em> along with Shayantani. Producer-actor Aroona Irani says, "Often we do see actors from other shows making special appearances in a particular show. So, we too decided to rope in these girls in our show. This is done just to add more spice to our show."

Jan 2007 will see veteran actress Aroona Irani's AK Films put forth a new serial on Sahara One for her loyal viewers. The new show is titled <em> Doli Sajaa Ke</em> and is directed by Pawan Sahu. Aroona Irani's <em>Tum Bin Jaoon Kahan</em> ends its run on Zee today. The show, one of the channel long running serials, ends with Khushi dying while trying to save Aryan. 'She asks Durga to take care of Mahir. Guruji says that the story started with one death and Khushi coming back defying destiny and now it ends with her death. The chapter is closed' - goes Zee's assessment of the final episode that's to be aired at 11 pm tonight.
