Ashim Samanta
It is sad to see a film like Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai not getting enough screens for exhibition. Though it has got a few multiplexes but only for a few shows, it is unlike what producer Ashim Samanta had envisaged about.
Grouses Samanta, “It seems the multiplex cartel has decided not to release non-star cast films (the film stars Aditya Samanta and Nazia Hussain) because they say that they don’t get numbers. We had not asked for 10 screens in town and the suburbs respectively; we have asked for just one. Alas!”

Whilst shooting for the track Tere Bina for his debut film Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai at the scenic locales of Zakopane in Poland, Aditya Samanta was so enraptured in enacting the whole scene that he hardly realised that he was a few feet away from the deep abyss of the heavenly location.
A unit member’s impromptu loud cry of caution seemed to have broken the spell and saved Aditya just in the nick of time. The whole unit including his father Ashim Samanta breathed a sigh of relief after that.
