A lot of people were surprised by his long absence. Some even wondered whether Amit had quit television. Clearing the air he says, “I haven’t quit television. I was just busy shooting for my film. I’m playing a prominent role in Aziz Mirza’s upcoming film. It has Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan as the main leads. I can’t divulge many details,” he concludes.
