He was determined to try on till he succeeded. He told Producer Asit Modi, “I will come up with a better performance.” His actions matched his words. Indeed he churned out a stellar performance and deservingly bagged the role of Tappu.

How many of us must have had teenage crushes and dates? Was it bad? We won’t get into that but yes…Neela Telefilms’ has gone ahead to drop a track in the show, <em>Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah</em> (SAB TV), wherein Jethalal’s naughty son Tappu (Bhavya Gandhi) was too have a date. Bhavya, who plays the role of class 10 student Tappu, said, “The channel felt that since Tappu is a role model for youngsters and if he does such things, it will set bad precedent for others to follow.”

It’s celebrate time…folks!!! Bhavya Gandhi, Shoaib Ibrahim and Sachin Sharma are celebrating their birthdays today (20 June 2012). Bhavya is in Nagpur along with his mother to seek his guru<em>ji</em>’s blessings. “I have not been shooting from the past seven days. I was in Ahmadabad. A 12 year old kid had a wish that he wants to meet Tappu before he breathes his last. So I went to see him. He can survive maximum for the next 12 days. I spent time with him on my birthday and cut three cakes with him,” shared Bhavya with <em>Tellychakkar.com</em>.
