Chak de! India gave Shah Rukh Khan another hit but it went a long way in changing the fortunes of the 16 girls who wielded their hockey sticks in the film. Post <em>Chak De! India</em>, the likes of Sagarika Ghatge, Chitrashi Rawat, Shilpa Shukla have made their presence felt on big and small screen. Shubhi Mehta, who played Gunjan Lakhani in the film, is all set to enter Colors and Balaji Telefilms show <em>Bairi piya</em>.

If sources are to be believed then SaiBaba Telefilms’ <em> Chak De </em> on 9X will not be aired post strike. After the successful run of the first season of <em> Chak De Bachche </em>, the producer and the channel had joined hands for the second season of <em> Chak De – Shehar Di Kudiyan Te Galli De Gunde </em> and now the show has abruptly come to an end.

The dance based reality show <em> Chak De – Shehar Di Kudiyan Te Galli De Gunde </em> will have lots more glamour and sizzle. What with the ultra glam Karisma Kapoor being part of the judge’s bench it couldn’t get hotter. The earlier season titled <em> Chak De Bachche</em> had four judges Raveena Tandon, Salim-Suleiman and Ganesh Acharya. But this time Ganesh Acharya will be replaced by the beautiful Karisma.
