This year Chunky Pandey's birthday will be special! Perhaps for the first time ever, an actor will have a contest in his name and that too on air! To celebrate the ocassion of the actor's birthday on 29 April, Sahara Filmy announced a contest to hunt for Rokkky's Best Mate, with whom he'll celebrate his birthday on air and on ground. From 8 to 22 April, viewers can participate in the contest by sending their best and most creative birthday wishes to Rokkky by sms, email or post.

Chunky Pandey's AIM production is producing a new series of yesteryear's hit countdown show, <em>Superhit Muqabla</em>, the first episode of which aired on 5 March. The show which airs every Sunday from 10 -11 pm, has a whole new format as compared to the original. It's divided into many segments and will be more of a "music appreciation show" than a countdown show.

His comic capers on celluloid may have tickled your funny bone till a couple of years ago. Now Chunky Pandey gets ready to play Rokkky, and host his own show <em>Rokkky Mera Naam</em>, on Sahara's forthcoming TV channel Filmy, that launches 12 February. As Rokkky, Chunky will take on Bollywood's superstars (though not in their original forms), in his interview show. Natty, zany, irreverent and an incorrigible flirt - that's Chunky's brief for being Rokkky!
