CID
Remember Ashish Kaul? The actor who played Anuj Saxena's best friend in Kkusum. Somehow, one hasn't seen much of him on the small screen except for a few episodic roles in Aahat, CID and Viiki aur Vetal on Disney.
To make full use of his ample time on hand, Ashish has gone ahead and launched his brand of chocolates called Whites. We caught up with the actor who was gushing with excitement about his new venture.

Mickkie Dudaaney, who plays the villain, Yuvraj Goenka in Star's afternoon show Saarthi has been roped in for CID on Sony because (believe it or not) he resembles Bollywood hottie John Abraham!
This detective serial had been hunting for a John look-alike as the role demanded the actor's motorbike escapades ala Dhoom. And the similarities don't end with their appearances. Incidentally, Mickkie and John share the same birthday, i.e. 17th December!
"This is my second episodic appearance on CID, and I am all charged up

Mona Ambegaonkar, last seen as forensic scientist Dr Anjalika in Sony's CID, seems to have made a comeback of sorts after giving birth to a baby girl a few months ago!
Motherhood seems to have worked wonders with the pretty actor, who's looking rather lovely in the Dettol ad where she features as the mother of a teen.
When we called to ask her about the secret of her glowing skin, the lady just laughed it off and thanked us profusely for complimenting her!
Busy with her newborn, the actor hasn't taken on more work! But we are hoping to see much more of her on the small screen!

Kavita Kaushik's one cool gal. All along, while her friends were planning a surprise bash on her birthday last week, the leggy lass, seen most often on Sony's CID, was wise to their tricks.
"I knew it when they said let's go for a drive, that they would drive down to a nice nature spot near Pune, 'cos I love nature! We had a huge party there, came back to Mumbai, and then when some of them took me out shopping again, I knew they wanted to do up my house for the party!" laughs Kavita.

It's a time to celebrate for Rajeev Khandelwal! First came the MTV Lycra Awards, where he won the most stylish male in television award, and now, he's been signed on as ACP in Sony's long running show, CID. The icing on the cake is that the actor is going to Jaipur during Diwali to meet up with friends and family.
"It's been a long time since I have been there and I am going to meet my new bhabhi (his younger brother just got married). Since, my father just got out of hospital, I am looking forward to seeing him again!" says Rajeev, who can't wait to reach Jaipur.
