Kunwar bid goodbye to the show leaving Shakti Mohan, touted as one of the strong contenders from Lewis’ team to win the crown. This time there was a direct elimination after the performances and there were no two contestants in the danger zone. Kunwar was eliminated owing to lack of votes. Dancing diva Helen was the celebrity guest of the show.

Just last week the three mentors and grandmaster of Dance India Dance 2 had lavished praise on the ‘girls’ who they believed would go on to reach the finals. They all had said how the girls were far better than the boys this season and that the latter will have to pull up their dancing shoes and socks to beat the girls. With the eviction of Kruti Mahesh this week, looks like the viewers still prefer boys to girls!

After losing three of her <a href= http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/its-twin-losses-geeta-ki-gang>contestants</a>, <em>mahaguru</em> Mithun Chakravorty spared her by eliminating one each from Remo D'souza and Terence Lewis' teams. Naresh from Remo's <em>rangeele</em> and Vandana from Terence' <em>toil</em> were evicted. The other four who were in the bottom six were Binny, Parvez, Dharmesh and Nikitasha.
