Abhishek Avasthi has been eliminated for the second and final time on <em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em>. The actor-dancer, who had earlier made a return with a new partner (Meenal Jain) via a wild card, failed to make it to the finals. As a result, the final will now be contested between Kushal Punjabi-Sanchita Mukherjee and Jasveer Kaur and her partner Raja Hasan.

In a real shocker of a result, Sayantani Ghosh and Aneek Dhar have been eliminated this week from <em>Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em>. Our<em> khabroo</em> from the sets says, “Sayantani-Aneek and Abhishek-Meenal Jain were in the bottom two this time. Then there was play-off between Aneek and Abhishek to decide the winner. Both Aneek and Abhishek performed well. However, the judges found Abhishek’s performance better thus Aneek and Sayantani had to leave. For the second straight week Abhishek was on the verge of being eliminated and expectedly, he was thrilled to have survived again.”

Bihari<em> babu</em> Ravi Kissen impressed all in his stint as host on Zee TV’s reality show <em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em>. Thus viewers were shocked when the Bhojpuri star had to leave the show mid-way. However, Ravi Kissen’s fans needn’t despair as their star will be present at the grand finale. A source close to Ravi Kissen says, “Raviji is currently shooting in South Africa for his film<em> Good Luck</em>. However, he will be available for the grand finale.”

Pakistan’s Mussarat Abbas was left stranded after his partner Sanober Kabir failed to turn up on the sets of <em>Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em>. Expectedly, they were disqualified from the show. When contacted, Sanober said, “Yes, I’m out of the show. I didn’t report to the sets yesterday. My contract says that I’m not supposed to talk anything on this to the press.” Zee TV Programming Head Ajay Bhalwankar says, “Sanober is no longer part of our show. She hasn’t given us a reason for her no show.”

<em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em> has already been extended by 4 weeks. Well, it will now be extended by another week as in the coming episodes there will not be any elimination. There was a tie between two<em> jodis</em> and since the judges didn’t want to lose any one of them, they didn’t deem it fit to have an elimination.

A week after he was eliminated, Abhishek Avasthi returned to <em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em>. Reportedly, the judges empathised with Abhishek and felt a brilliant performer like him deserved another chance. That's a fair enough but we hear there's more to it than meets the eye.

A battle within battle is taking place on<em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em>. It involves sexy sirens Sayantani Ghosh and Jasveer Kaur. The two girls are not only trying to outwit each other in dance but also in terms of who looks most seductive. In an effort to look different, the two have started to wear revealing outfits. Earlier, it was Sayantani who was grabbing more eyeballs but now Jasveer decided to push the envelope further.

Even though he got eliminated Abhishek Avasthi promised to return in the next episode. Well, he truly has lived up to his promise as the temperamental actor-dancer makes a return to<em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em> – courtesy a wild card. However, Abhishek has found a new partner in Meenal Jain. So out goes Sumedha. Well Abhishek isn't the only beneficiary. Actor Sanober Kabir and Anchal Dwivedi too have got their wild card tickets. Former<em> Sa Re Ga Ma Pa </em> contestants Mussarat Abbas of Pakistan and Aishwarya Nigam will be partnering Sanober and Anchal respectively.
